2.16 Jena: Since November 2022, Jena has been supporting the purchase of plug-in photovoltaic systems at 25% of the purchase price, up to a maximum of 200 euros. For housing benefit recipients, Bafög recipients and Jenabonus recipients, the subsidy rate is 75%, up to a maximum of €600. The program will initially run until December 31, 2023.

2.17 Kiel: The city subsidizes the connection costs of plug-in PV systems at €100 per system. You submit your application before purchasing your system. As a tenant, you will need a statement of consent from your landlord.

2.18 Köln: Plug-in solar equipment with a power of up to 600W is eligible if professional installation of the individual modules and professional connection to the household electrical system can be confirmed. There is 200 euros per system.

2.19 München: 40 cents per installed watt of electricity, i.e. a maximum of 240 euros for a 600-watt balcony PV system. Pay up to 50% of investment costs.

2.20 Oldenburg: The municipality temporarily closed the funding window on March 17, 2023. You can probably submit your application again in the second half of the year. The City of Oldenburg donated €200 for a balcony solar system equipped with one solar module and €300 for a system equipped with two solar modules. For students, trainees, housing benefit recipients and social welfare recipients, the subsidy increases by a further €100.

2.21 Regensburg: Since March 2023, the city of Regensburg has provided a grant for plug-in solar installations. You must submit a request before placing an order or paying a deposit. There is a flat subsidy of €150 per balcony photovoltaic system and residential unit.

2.22 Stuttgart: Stuttgart will subsidize small systems at a flat rate of €100 if the city grid operator's requirements are met.

2.23 Tübingen: Balcony PV systems with a peak power of up to 600W comply with DGS standards are eligible. The city offers subsidies of up to 200 euros, but not exceeding 30% of the qualifying investment cost. If you have a KreisBonusCard, you can receive up to 75% of the investment cost, up to a maximum of €800.

2.24 Ulm: The city supports the purchase of micro-solar systems at 50% of the acquisition cost, up to a maximum of 250 euros per residential unit.

2.25 Unterschleißheim: If you buy a balcony solar system here, you will receive a subsidy of up to 200 euros. You can apply for funding within three months of the system being operational.

2.26 Wiesbaden: Subsidy of 300 euros for the purchase of a mini solar system. Funding conditions stipulate that an electrician must connect your balcony PV system to a dedicated power socket.

2.27 Mainz: Balcony PV systems (up to 800 W) are subsidized at a flat rate of €400, but at most half the cost.
